Coaches looking for Positions

Coach lives in Eldon, IA. looking for coaching position

I am 23 years old and have been playing volleyball since I can remember I have experience coaching volleyball in both the big school setting and in a small school setting. I grew up playing Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, and Track all thru high school in a 2A class. I was setter all four years however I have went to clinics and talked to many college players on hitting techniques to make myself a well rounded coach. I believe in making practice fun but yet without a lot of distractions. I have the rule of open communication between my players and the parents. I am always willing to listen. I coached a club team in Cedar Falls and then was an assistant coach for one of the high schools. I have been coaching since I graduated from high school in 2007 with ages ranging from 5 years old to 18 years old in all sports. I love coaching and the sport of volleyball it was something I feel that motivated me thru school and taught me great personal skills as well with the community.

IMPACT Certification

It is now required that all coaches for every USAV juniors team be IMPACT Certified. This requirement was voted in to help cover liability issues for the Regions, Junior Clubs, Junior Teams and Junior Coaches. High school coaching certifications will not be accepted to fulfill this requirement. Coaches must attend an IMPACT Clinic or be CAP I or CAP II certified to meet this requirement. If you have attended an IMPACT clinic in past years this will meet the requirement.
