The Iowa Region solicited feedback and based on your comments we have put together some new rules and initiatives in hopes of rebuilding our Adult membership to the days when our numbers were in the thousands and we were playing as much as the Juniors. We hope you enjoy the new way of thinking and always look forward to hearing feedback and suggestions! Below is a list of some of the things that are on the way for 2012!!!

• Cash Awards - Tournaments will now pay out $ for 1st and 2nd places. The exact amount will be dependent on the number of teams.
• More Tournaments - We are currently working with tournament directors to find court space and plan on holding tournaments at multiple locations throughout the state. We'll also be adding COED tournaments to our repertoire! Please periodically check the adult site for an updated list of tournaments.
• Shorter Tournaments - You wanted shorter tournaments, so we are going to work towards keeping tournaments to a total of 6 hours so you can have a good chunk of your day to spend with family and friends.
• End-Of-Season Drawings - We think players should be rewarded for playing and team reps should be rewarded for getting the gang together so here we go ...
• Social Events - We are working with sponsors for incentives at local restaurants and watering holes so we have a place to refuel and rehydrate after tournaments :-)!
• Fewer Regulations - With the exception of out-of-state tournaments, uniforms will no longer be required. We have also done away with score sheets so the only scoring we'll need to do is with a flip chart.
