What is USA Volleyball?
USA Volleyball is the National Governing Body for the sport in America and as such is recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee and the FIVB (Federation International de Volleyball) as the organization primarily responsible for increasing participation and awareness of volleyball in America. USAV's efforts are aided by the many member organizations with which it is affiliated, such as 40 Regional Volleyball Associations, the NCAA, YMCA, National Federation of State High School Associations, Association of Volleyball Professionals and the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Mission
To promote widespread interest in the sport of volleyball, to increase the number of participants in the sport, and develop skillful playing of the game. Any individual is eligible to become a member of the USA Volleyball Region regardless of age, race, creed, religion or ethnic background.
About Iowa Volleyball
The Iowa Volleyball Region is a member of the USA Volleyball Organization. The Iowa Volleyball Region is a grassroots organization which sanctions events for Club volleyball teams in the state of Iowa. Our teams included Adult and Junior teams for boys, girls, men and women. Our indoor sanction season for adult teams runs from November through May. Our indoor season for junior teams runs from December through June.  Member of USA Volleyball - National Office
